April 07, 2011 - Daifuku Group Completes Logan Teleflex Acquisition
The Daifuku Group is pleased to announce that it completed the purchase of all shares of Logan Teleflex (UK) Ltd. (headquartered in the United Kingdom), Logan Teleflex (France) S.A. (headquartered in France) and Logan Teleflex, Inc. (headquartered in the U.S.A.) on April 1, 2011. The three companies ("Logan"), which provide airport baggage handling systems and services, are now wholly owned subsidiaries within the Group.
March 15, 2011 - Statement Regarding the 2011 Japan’s Earthquake and Tsunami

June 28, 2010 - DAIFUKU Expands Warehouse Facilities of NETTO A/S
The significant recent expansion of the Netto supermarket chain in Denmark, has resulted in its Køge distribution centre being required to operate close to 100 percent of its capacity. As a result the Danish grocery discounter, is carrying out a major expansion at the site, near Copenhagen. NETTO A/S placed an order with the materials handling specialists at DAIFUKU Europe Ltd., who supplied the existing warehouse facilities holding some 18,000 pallets, to carry out the planning and implementation of the expansion. Work on the dry terminal will be completed without impacting daily operations and completion is scheduled by December, 2010.
May 22, 2010 - Performance Up – Costs Down
The new fully automatic high-bay warehouse of Swedish supermarket wholesaler Dagab AB is running at 120 percent of the contractually agreed throughput. Within just nine weeks the material handling experts at DAIFUKU Europe Ltd. integrated the entire system, including high-speed conveyor technology, at the Dagab distribution center in Stockholm during normal warehouse operations.
May 12, 2010 - Ordered today, delivered tomorrow
Following completion of the first Mini Load high-bay warehouse in 2007, British book wholesaler Gardners Books set up a second automated book storage system at its Eastbourne headquater. With this new development the wholesaler is more than doubling its warehouse capacity to over 120,000 tote bins and some two million books stored. Responsible for this project as for the first is material handling expert Daifuku Europe Ltd. who is supplying further 18 Mini Load cranes and associated equipment. The installation started at the end of October 2009 and was completet in March 2010.

May 07, 2009 - Japanese High-tech High-bay Racking Store in Göteborg
The expansion and restructuring of their high-bay narrow-aisle warehouse in Göteborg has been a complete success for Swedish supermarket wholesaler Dagab AB: by installing new storage and retrieval units and high-speed conveyor technology the company has doubled the output of goods from 75 to up to 152 pallets per hour. Dagab has also implemented space-saving article storage. In 2,400 m² of storage space, the supermarket wholesaler now has room for almost 10,000 pallets. DAIFUKU Europe Ltd. realized the impressive optimization of the automatic high-bay warehouse in just eight weeks during normal warehouse operations.
